SiteCapture and R11

SiteCapture is field data capture software. Crews complete forms and capture photos on site, which is where most of the evidence a funder or an inspector will later ask for is actually produced.

Where it stops

The evidence is captured in the field and the package is assembled in the office, usually days apart and by different people. Nobody finds out that a required photo was missed, or taken from the wrong angle, until a submission comes back or an inspector asks. By then the crew has left the site, and getting the shot means sending someone back to a finished roof.

What R11 does with it

• What the crew captured is attached to the job, so the office is checking a package against real field evidence rather than assuming the photos exist.
• A missing or unusable capture shows up as something outstanding on the job while the crew is still nearby, rather than after a rejection.
• The field team's work does not change. Crews keep filling out the same forms in the same app.

Do our crews have to learn anything new?

Nothing changes on the roof. Crews keep the same forms in the same app, because a system that asks a crew to do extra admin at height will simply not be used.

Can R11 change or delete a capture?

The connection reads only, so a field record cannot be altered by anything R11 does. Field evidence is what an inspector and a funder will both argue with later; it should be exactly what the crew captured.

Does this replace SiteCapture?

Capture stays where capture happens. R11 makes that evidence useful at the one moment it matters, when a package is being assembled and someone still has time to fix what is missing.
