EnFin and R11

EnFin is a residential solar financier backed by Qcells. Like other third-party owners it pays installers in milestones tied to project events rather than in one lump sum.

Where it stops

Newer financing programs move more than established ones. Requirements at a milestone get revised, naming settles over time, and timing shifts as the program scales. None of that is unreasonable, but it means the office is learning the rules while running jobs against them, and the usual way a change announces itself is a rejected submission on a project that is already installed and already carrying your money.

What R11 does with it

• Milestones are recorded as EnFin reports them, with the date of the report, so what you are looking at is the funder's account rather than an assumption.
• A submission that comes back is a hold on that job, visible to whoever picks it up next rather than to whoever happened to get the email.
• Because nothing is inferred from project progress, a job that looks finished but has not actually been reported funded still reads as outstanding.

Does R11 know EnFin's milestone schedule?

R11 records what EnFin reports rather than assuming a schedule. That is deliberate: milestone naming across TPO financiers is genuinely in flux, so a system that assumes a fixed schedule is wrong the moment a funder revises one.

Can R11 tell us why a submission was returned?

It records what the financier reported and puts it on the job as a hold. The reason is the funder's to give; R11's job is making sure it reaches the person who can act on it rather than sitting in one inbox.

Can R11 change anything in our EnFin account?

The connection reads only. R11 records what EnFin reports and writes nothing back.
